sweet memories

I found some time today to
cut into the new Sassafras Lass' Indie Girl ,
inspired by the latest Sketchy Thurday's sketch .

I tried out misting some of the Fall Glimmer Mist colors here -
Autumn Night , Dragonfly, Apple & Sugar Apple ,
splattering them on the brown cardstock too.

Just love the new MM metal embossed charms .
Goes so well with this line.
& trying for the first time - ruffled eyelet trim -
I haven't done much of pleating & ruffling yet & they are all the rage still  .
Gotta do it more .

& of course , some banner love - why not ? lol
Jenni Bowlin letter stickers for the date here.

Hi Pearl,

Loving this LO with Indie Girl!!! Great take on the sketch. I am still on holidays with my sister in town. The mountains are beautiful in Banff and time is just flying by. Hey, we are going shopping for Indie Girl tomorrow in Edmonton!! Just came in yesterday!! Hope you guys are all still dry!! Scary when it rains that much!! :( August I will be back into scrapping mode and will have to try to catch up on all that I have missed!!

Wow, that looks like a tough sketch to me, but you nailed it, Pearl! Love what you do with the mists. You always make me want to break mine out and experiment more. Love what you did with the ruffled lace and adore the banner. I'm with you on that, why not use a banner cause they are so darn cute!
