Sketchy Thursday on Pebbles' Inc Blog

It's my very first Sketchy Thursday assignment
for Pebbles' Inc and I sure had fun with this layout :

" I loved this unique grid design that I've never considered before and was particularly pleased to go with a multi photo layout, allowing me to scrap my teenage kids with their church youth group here.  I usually follow any sketch closely at the beginning of my design - in this case I followed the placement of the photos and the ticket border across the top half of the layout. After that I made the sketch my own , using different types of Fresh Goods embellishments to create what I want in terms of a balanced design."

Today we're all sharing a project we created using MLS and Unity, and I made a Layout using the adorable new line from MLS called "Destination", as well as the Unity stamp set that coordinates with that line.

I stamped the sentiment "Have a nice " unto patterned ledger paper first and then cut out the words and adhered them
unto the MLSB cardstock airplane with banner sticker as part of the titlework.

I also used the journalling block stamp with distress ink , stamping unto
a coordinating MLSB Destination pp.
I then cut out ribbon strips for journaling .

PRIZE HAUL:

Please be sure to leave a comment on each of the blogs as a random commenter will  receive a fabulous prize from Unity Stamps

My Little ShoeBox - Destination - Mini Album

I love collecting quotes and decided to make this mini as a gift for a teenager - the patterns of the Destination line were my guide as to the kinds of quotes with pictures that I would want in the mini . I also did a little stamping on the kraft envelopes of the mini using the Unity Stamp set - A little destination . On some of the chipboard pages I simply misted with Chalkboard Glimmer Mist and the rest of them I simply inked around the edges for a quick treatment for the background .

Happy Haunting !

I've had so much fun using Cottage Cutz's Halloween dies
with My Little Shoebox's Trick or Treat all month long.
For my card today, I wanted to create a ghoulish scene
and wanted to see what would come out
when I combined the following 2 dies :

I used white cardstock to die cut the 3 ghouls and
inked up 2 bats with distress ink in purple for a pop of color .
The Haunted House border was diecut using self adhesive cardstock.
I've used patterned papers here from My Little Shoebox's Trick or Treat line.
Definitely simple and easy to create a new scene each time
with different die combinations in our Halloween release

I can't wait to see more sneak peeks with our second Christmas Release
here on our blog in the following days !
Do keep a close eye
and I'll be back with Christmas projects the next time !
Can't wait ! ;)

Echo Park's Times and Seasons

I thought the new Echo Park Times and Seasons 6x6 paper pad
would be a great starting point to make a batch of Thank You cards.

Most of the sentiments here are Kaisercraft's Rub ons.

Managed to use some older Prima and Pink Paislee embellies
where I could. ;)
I still have so much colored crinkled seam binding on hand
I don't have to make up new colors no more .

Joy, Peace , Love !

I'm just enjoying creating for the holiday seasons way ahead of time this year.
I must have made at least 20 Christmas card bases in the past coupla days
using old Heidi Swapp Christmas pps and new Echo Park Season's Greetings.
For today I have cards made with new Authentique Paper's Wonder pps
with MME's Lost & Found Christmas layered stickers for the sentiment.
Here's a card with older Webster's Pages Christmas petite papers with my all time
fave K&CO Christmas dimensional stickers.
K&Co 's detailed dimensional stickers are really hard to beat
when I want a quick, finished look.
Authentique Paper's Wonder pp again with K&CO diecut for the sentiment.
I'm waiting for the DHL man today
for delivery of the latest Pebbles Inc Valentine line  - With Love.
So yeah , you've guessed it , I'm moving on to Valentine's Day

Pebbles Inc : New Valentine's Day Collection - With Love

Pebbles Inc has a new line to share with you!
Our new collection, With Love, incorporates traditional holiday colors—red, pink and white—to create an endearing line of products for lovely scrapbooking and, most especially, Valentine’s Day cards.

It's chock-full of hearts, flowers, dots and even a few (love) birds to form the perfect collection of patterns for customers to create Valentines for loved one. Note that some of the patterns are printed on kraft paper, which makes the line extra special and warm.

Masking Tape Stickers and Clear Stamps

These stickers have the look of masking tape, but go on smoothly, while the warm colors and adorable designs are as precious as your Valentine. The Clear Stamps are sweeter than candy hearts (but we recommend those, too) with usable phrases and designs for expressing cardmakers' twitterpation.

Mini Dimensional Flowers and Dimensional Hearts
Mini Dimensional Flowers and Dimensional Hearts add cuteness and depth, something desirable in a Valentine as well as a Valentine’s card.

The flowers have multiple layers of paper petals and a metal and pearlesque middle, while the hearts—not to be outdone—also have multiple layers, with a stitch up the middle to create a flirtatious butterfly effect.

I know I can't wait to start creating with this wonderful new lovely collection ! ;)

MLSB - Winter Wonderland sneak peek

Look for My Little Shoebox's Winter Wonderland collection
to arrive in stores in late October.
Woohoo !

A note from Helen about this collection: I created this playful winter collection with the hope that you'd enjoy scrapbooking your family's winter activities, holiday gatherings and memories. I know many of my scrapbooking fans also love to create their own holiday cards so I've included 6 different patterns that will work well for whatever theme you have in mind this year.

Crate Paper Random

I have almost forgotten that I have the CP Random collection pack
but when my Chelley Bean Designs dyed paper doilies arrived, I knew
vaguely that they could work with that collection.
This also was a great opportunity to use some of my latest Prima buys - love their Vintage Buttons - so many wonderful designs in one pack !
Also brought out some Primas that I bought earlier in the year - I have tried to stop buying their florals as far as I can help it - trying up to just use my existing Prima stash .

Still love these older  black Prima crystal swirls  .

Nice to do a pretty , feminine layout for a change . ;)

Happy H*owl*oween !

I was thinking about how to use the Cottage Cutz Broom Mini die  on a project
and when I saw this scalloped journal die cut
by Doodlebug Design a little lightbulb went off.

I diecut a dark grey Owl mini from patterned paper and adhered it unto the the scalloped diecut, sitting it on the branch/broomstick.
Then I trimmed off a smaller orange owl from Cottage Cutz' Spooky Frame w/Owl die ,
sitting it on our Broom mini diecut
and viola , here's wishing you "Happy H*owl*oleen"!
These mini diecuts were sure made to be "scene" ! lol !
Hope this gives you ideas for piecing together other fun scenes
that you can think of this Halloween !

In September,Cottage Cutz released  some darling new Christmas designs -
about 15 in all ! & they are shipping now !
Guess what our October release is ? -
14 adorable new designs that are Fall themed !
I'm just so thrilled to see all the new designs
that I had to whip up something Fall inspired too , for today.

I started my card design here with the Halloween Lamp Post w/sign die
and cut a dark brown lamp post out of self adhesive cardstock.
Then I added a pumpkin , cut out of Crate Paper's Farmhouse pp, using the My Little Shoebox Spooky Treats die. The leaves in the patterned paper inspired me to use the Pink Peony and Orchid Flower dies, inking some of the leaves for better definition.

As always , we have a 25% savings offer when you order the entire release Bundle
This new Fall release ships Oct 17th.
