Pebbles Inc : Whip It Up project

It's my very first Whip It Up Wednesday project over at Pebbles Inc's blog .
And I have some step by step instructions to create these adorable Post It Note holders
that can be whipped up in 30 minutes or less.
"I was still in need of last minute Christmas gifts and decided to whip up these post-it-note holders when I found a few stacks of Post It Notes on hand"
And here are the step by step instructions:
  1. Trim chosen cardstock to 7.5 x 3.5 inches.
  2. Score at 3.5 and 4 inches in along the sides that are 7.5 inches. This is easiest to do with either a scoring tool (e.g., Martha Stewart's Score Board) or a paper trimmer with scoring blade.
  3. Fold at score marks, up and over, and the basic structure is completed.
  4. Take a stack of post it notes and glue to the bottom of the holder.
  5. From here, it's really up to you how you want to decorate your holder.

Just Chillin'

Hi , everyone !
Trust  this is the time to kick back the heels , sit back
and catch our breathes a little in the days just before Christmas. LOL!
And a card today that I can share that expresses that sentiment exactly -
I have used the Snowglobe , Winter Accessories die for the
Fishing Penguin .
I have cut out most of the parts using white cardstock
and used my current fave Pebbles Inc chalk
and American Crafts Glitter Gel pens to color in .

Warmest Wishes for a blessed Christmas time with you & yours !

Hey , hey , hey blogging friends !
It's my first  challenge posted over at the Scrapping Cottage's blog

My easy peasy challenge is as follows :

Make a SQUARE holiday card - any size -
and decorate your Cottage Cutz die used with 3D embellishments.

For my 6x6 square Christmas card sample here -
I have used the Whimsical Tree die cut out of patterned paper.
I chalked the edges and the embossed areas for more definition .
And for some fun embellishments for the tree,
I have added Eyelet Outlet's Holiday Sock Monkey brad,
gingerbread man and some peppermint candy brads.

We will choose one random winner to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the Scrapping Cottage! ;)

The Best Gift of Christmas

The best gift at Christmas for me ,
year after year ,
is eternal life which is the gift of God
in Christ Jesus. ( Roms 6:23)
"Christ" is my reason for this season.

And helping me capture my belief is the Cottage Cutz Nativity Silhouette
I have diecut my Nativity scene out of self adhesive cardstock here
and used American Craft's Glitter Gel pens to add highlights .
A few choice colors and pieces of bling
easily finishes off this Nativity scene for me .

Blessings to you and yours
as we celebrate this sacred season !
