Sketch 40 is up over at the Scrappiest .
It's a simple linear sketch with room for circular elements.
I had some misted fun with a new found ability to create my own mists with what I have at home.
My basic formula : a bottle that you can use to mist with + some water + acrylic paint + glitter glue.
Just shake everything up & them start misting away!
Buttons and fabric strips are a great way to embellish with when in doubt .
I also colored a piece of crochetted lace with my own mist to match the colors in the photo here , of
little Nino..

Girl you got me HOOKED, I might have to do more such layouts, lol.
Very pretty Pearl.
I love the idea of making your own glimmer mist :) Thanks for sharing your recipe. That's a cute LO too! I wish I had more chances to scrap....
super cute! and just love the idea!! thanks for sharing
Hey Pearl! How clever that you made your own mists! What a great idea. I've never had any myself, and last night I put some walnut ink in a small spray bottle and went to town with that. I felt left out with never getting to mist. ;) Your page is really cute. I love the misted lace and the circles. Cool to use the fabric strips, too.
Beautiful work, as always~ You're so talented!
You even colored the lace? That's a great idea; if something isn't in the right color, just make it the right color yourself! XD
Pear....you are so crazy talented! I loved that make-your-own-mist tip!!! I'll have to try it! AND I LOVE BLACK EYED PEAS!!!! Sorry I've been slacking on the blog visiting! And I FINALLY got some self-portraits which you inspired me to do!!! I put one on my flickr and I'm still editing some light on the others and playing with the colors! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Mo
