D is for delight !

Delight in Discovery !

I finally decided to put my Canon 50mm f1.8 lens to use this weekend
and got some pics of DD with her sharp & the background blurred but sometimes still in context !
hurray ! lol !

Delight in the new BG Capella - pps & new Basic pps & micro alphas !
I didn't think I would be picking up any of the new Basic, Capella or Max & Whiskers
but got done in with the current promo we have in our LSS .
I did limit myself to 15 pps
( & it was a mix of 5 Basic pps & the rest Capella - nope , no Max & Whiskers brought home ;) )
Yup,story of our lives !

frankly, I do not think Weddings at all when I look at the Capella pps ,
shabby chic perhaps , Mother's Day even ,
everything except Weddings !

Pics of my layout here taken
with the 50mm f1.8 lens  for a change.

Layout design is inspired by Ingvild's new Weekend sketches posting

here's a few more pics I got .
I can't recommend this 50mm1.8 lens more highly,
especially in view of its cost ! ;)

I have that lens, and I actually, for the first time, don't like a line by Basic Grey, but you make it look GOOD GOOD GOOD!!!

This is really a great LO! Love all your amazing details, can look at this for ever. Your take on the sketch is really great, like how you made it to your own, and that you used one picture in stead of 3. Thank you so much for getting inspired by one of my sketches, and for sharing it with me and everyone else! ;-)

Take care!

*hugs*

Always love your way of using flowers and swirls! Those small white&pink roses really pop against the rest of the page! Beautiful~

Those are awesome photos as well, really nice blur to the background and nice focus on the subject~ Wish I had an awesome camera like that, lol... XD

Gorgeous LO Pearl! What lovely layering!
Ahh, the new lens. I am just new to the SLR world and so I am just getting used to some of the custom settings. I am working towards moving into manual! A new lens will have to wait!

What fun to play with a new camera! I like the way your pictures turned out and what a beautiful layout. 15 papers???? I don't think I have EVER scrapped with anywhere near 15 papers to a page!!! Maybe I should include more layers...hmmmm.....

Hi Pearl! Love these photos of your children! Love this layered LO with this yummy BG. I wasn't big on this line but now I'm not so sure I want to pass it up!! LOL You used it so well!! I haven't seen it out here in Canada. You guys always get it before us by quite a few weeks I think.
