know better what to do with chipboard - can you spot 4 different chipboard techniques here ?
- know what to do for a cardstock only challenge !
- know I can survive using paints ( but inking is easier , faster & less messy ! LOL ! )
- know that I can survive not buying a whole load of ready made embellies
Thanks to Scrapping Outback's First Chipboard School - ( also a contest ! )
their totally awesome Design Team is conducting the weekly lessons
( for a total of 7 weeks ! my layout here is for week 3 )
They also have some of the loveliest chipboard designs around !
My scrapping life may never be the same again !
O the wonders of the'Net & learning from all over the world !
Finally tried out my Glitz Grid Roller Doodle here ! Loved it !
A hint of glitter & color on some of the splatters with my Gel Marker.
Masking with a Scrap piece of KI Lace ( I used mainly scraps on this layout except for the Core'Dinations CS ) & added a hint of glitter with my Gel Marker ( crayon like texture )
Added French Knots for texture on the painted flourish ( which I used a crayon resist technique - using a white crayon draw what you want & then go over it with paint ) .Some Liquid pearls as well for fun .
Painting techniques :
I used the Glitz Dots roller doodles on a scrap piece of kraft CS which also had a piece of embossing on it . And tried a reverse bubble wrap look ( created using paper by punching different sized holes & then using that as a mask , painting over it ,;splattering with black paint , swiping , stamping with a MM foam stamp with acrylic paint , painting on the masking tape for the journaling strips .

WHat a lot of fun chipboard school must have been! Looks like you had a great time playing with new techniques, then placing many of them on one LO - looks fabulous, Pearl! I love it when people get together and learn new things form each other. It really boosts my enthusiasm!
