Sweet golden inspiration !

***My Blog giveaway is still OPEN.... pls see previous post here ........ends March 17 ***

first of all , much , many thanks , deep thanks  to  dear Lynette , in South Africa,
for letting me scrap one of her precious little treasures in life here.

I always wondered how I would scrap if I had blonde kiddos.
 ( nope mine aren't blonde yet - maybe when they're adults ?! lol  & I only have 2 -
other kidlets that you oftentimes see in my layouts are my many nieces & nephews )

Would  I scrap any differently   - anyway I'll let you be the judge of this one for now !

Recently I got hold of a bunch of different Bazzill white cardstock
that has spot lamination on them - different designs .
I knew if I misted on the laminated design it  would resist the mist -
but you have to wipe the mist off the design as I discovered with this layout.
I used 3 different colors of blue on here but you're mainly seeing the Jazz Blue GM i think .

The new Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane, which has delightful images of children on some of the papers,
came to mind when I first saw Lynette's pics.
But somehow in the course of piecing this design together it just didn't occur to me to add some in .
I used some new baby blue crochet trim by American Crafts for the lower border & Prima lace for the upper one.
Also added touches of Shimmerz Blingz in turquoise on the white Prima rose & on the cardstock.

Layout design is inspired by Sketch Inspiration #114.

Overall, I was happy with how this turned out even if it was on the simple side for me. ;)
