Tagged - 7 random facts....

Here are my seven random and/or weird facts about me:

1. I barely attended kindergarten growing up and started primary school at age 7 & did rather well actually !

2. I knewly did not make it to university due to a strange requirement here of needing to pass a 2nd language even if we will never use it in our university studies ! That year just for a handful of us the rule was changed & we made it ! hey ho !

3. My fave number is 7 which is very lucky for me .

4. So I really can't say that 2007 is not a good year for me ! lol - it's been very good in several areas indeed !

5. My current fave motto : Expect the Unexpected !

6. My current fave discovery : It's really possible to live without buying the latest & greatest for eg in papercrafting etc

7. At my current age ( no prizes for getting it right etc ) I realise yet again that God is my first priority & not my last resort !

"BELIEVE and EXPECT a MIRACLE! Give the World a MERRY 'CHRIST'MAS!"

This Christmas season I'd like to share the following message by Chuck Pierce :

During this time of year, we must allow our expectations to arise. The expectation of the Lord is a function of our emotions. I am praying for your emotional well-being. A miracle is when a Higher or Greater force exhibits a supernatural power on the laws of nature to bring about an unexplainable change in the earth!

We believe Father-God came as Spirit and hovered over a virgin and impregnated her. We believe the Son was then born to this virgin and grew in stature and favor with man. We believe that He came unto His own, but His own did not receive Him.

We believe that He overcame the power of sin in this world and then sacrificed Himself so that we could be redeemed from the power of sin. We believe that He overcame death, hell and the grave and now sits at the right hand of the Father. We believe His Spirit dwells among us to give us the same power to overcome all temptation, sin and decay of the world.

We believe that the miracle-working power that was displayed by Jesus Christ, the Messiah, is working in the world today and is available to each of us and enables us to walk in overcoming victory.

Playing catch up with some tags

Crafting Questions. From Andrea.

1.If you could have £100.00 worth of scrapbook paper or assorted embellishments, which would you choose?

Wow that's a lot of supplies here in Spore even if buying from the retail LSS' .... I would go with embellishments ! altho' I would prefer to buy papers & their matching embellies ...

2. If you had to choose between using only stamps or rub-ons, which would you choose?

Still being shy of stamping , I would definitely go with rub - ons .

3. If you knew how to do both awesome cards and layouts but could only do one for a whole year...which would you do?

I'm a cardmaking scrapper , so if I had to choose one I wouldnt hesitate to go with cardmaking ! Never bored with it ! and as Paula said sometimes photos are limited to work with .

4. Would you rather own a scrapbooking store or have your own scrapping room at home...(can't have both he he he)

This is easy - I would definitely go with my own scrapping room . Having a store is much easier said than done not to mention how competitive the market( manufacturers are the bigger winners i think ! rather than retailers ) is right now & having to keep up with whether one is stocking the latest & greatest ahead of your competitors etc etc ad nauseum

5. And last but not least, what is your CURRENT cardmaking or scrapping style....Now this can be tough to nail down!

My current style is colorful , graphic incorporating the latest products where possible.

list 7 facts about yourself: some random, some weird

1. I've swum in rather high floods when I was 4 -5 yrs old growing up in Malaysia .

Beds & fridges could float ! & they weren't the only things that did ! lol

2. I never crafted as kid nor was I even known to be artistic !

3. I did learn how to do the catwalk at age 22 or so.

4. I only started cardmaking in my 30 somethings !

5. I've sent Josh Groban( my fave all time singer )

personalised papercrafting gifts in Japan & the US

( as in they were personally handed to him by various fans )

6. I still haven't stepped foot on any part of the USA yet . Sigh !

7. I dont think I could live anywhere without high speed internet connection !
