Surprising Sun - Beauty Blogs !

I'm sure most of us would realise that one can learn almost anything off You-tube from solving the Rubik's cube to playing the guitar to scrapping & crafting of course !

Recently I was enamoured by how to's for make up ( eg how to use fake eyelashes which I highly recommend over doing eyelash extensions ( I tried once & that's enough for me ) yes ! fake eyelashes have come a very long way since I first used them on my wedding day ! lol technology has caught up with almost everything ! So yes do go for it ! Make overs without surgery & pain !

Just learning more about how to make -up with what we have or to even make a new small investment in that area ( instead of just buying new crafting stash for me ) can add a pop of fun into any woman's life no matter one's age ! lol

Prima challenge for Scrap-Diner

I created this layout for the forum challenge over at http://www.scrap-diner.com/ . Challenge is to use our Prima stash on a layout ! lol

I didn't expect this is be less filled with Primas 'cos I realy wanted the crystal flourish to stand out more !

Trying to use up more stash & decided scrapping is the way to go even though I wouldnt tire of cardmaking ! 

Using Bazzill Stitchable CS ( but too lazy to try stitching still so I used a Love Elsie, Zoe line fabric paper for backing ) & scalloped CS, Cherry Arte Princess pp & chipboard, AC felt flowers & thickers . 

Loving things embossed !

Had a lot of fun using my Cuttlebug embossing folders for cards recently that I had to try a layout that shows off more fo the embossed CS .

USing Love , Elsie Zoe Creative kit , some AC felt flowers , Rhonna Farrer pp & rub on

Where has the time gone ?

It's The Lunar New Year celebrations here in Sunny Singapore these past 4 days or so and I didn't think I could be separated from the Internet that long ! But Alas I have !

Surprising Saturday( instead of Weds ) shall be a new feature for me to blog & I have decided it will not be limited to challenges but instead I would like to use it it to highlight things of note crafting wise .

This will also help me to focus on Revitalising my own approach to Papercrafting .

At least that's what I hope .

So far 2008 I have discovered new fun card challenges galore & even created one for fun myself .

You rawk ! card sample for my Card Challenge

I had a go at Tamara's latest card sketch 29 for this card sample on the black, white & pink theme .

I haven't tried a hand cut circular card before & so it was a good challenge to try something new !

I used a CD to trace unto a 4x6" card base & used my Cutterbee scissors ( nothing else will do ! )

I can't say that these supplies are some of my top faves & I dont find them easy to use. Nevertheless I was happy with how this card actually turned out.
