Inspired by my Australian blogging pal Susan who created a card for the PapertakeWeekly Heart's Desire Challenge & mistakenly thought it was a challenge set by me ,I decided to create my very own & FIRST card challenge !
First of all in appreciation of all the card / layout challenges out there in blogging land , I must say Thank You so much everyone for keeping on creating new dares / ideas to tickle our papercrafting fancy !
I had a tonne of fun checking out new challenges this past week & finding new blogs to be inspired by !
As such my first ever card challenge is to create
either a Thank You card including the following embellishments -
flowers & brads but not of the usual kind that you would reach out for-
try something different & feel free to use other kinds of embellies too !
or
Create any kind of card with shades of Black, Pink & White .
No limitation on card size or shape !
There you have it ! I trust you will enjoy having a go at it !
For my card sample above , I used fabric Prima flowers with a velvet like quality & large word brads by ATB ( yes not the usual kind for me ! ) , Papers by Prima Marketing & DCWV's All Dressed Up 4x6" paper pad.

This challenge will run for one week & do check back next Weds for a Surprise yet again ! LOL

Sounds like fun to me... is it okay to make a skinny or a 4x4?

I'd love to do this but I have now packed away all my craft gear for tomorrow mornings' trip. I will lok out next week though & perhaps you could give a thought to setting something on a Saturday as I find the week rather a busy time with work & such!!

hiya! well, i THOUGHT i had made a card for your challenge...it IS a "thank you" card; but i had not read the post correctly so there are no flowers or brads! it has flower-shaped eyelets, tho, and--inspired by *your* cool thank you card--is based on nicola's MPW sketch. (i will understand if it's disqualified; i will read PROPERLY the next time!!!) :)
