Using New Samantha Walker Swirl Die Cut cardstock on top of Little Yellow Bicycle's Delightful Blue bird CS. Riff Raff designs laser cut chipboard large curly tree & Mr Whoo which I inked lightly , 7 Gypsies stickers.

I didnt think it would be easy to scrap these pictures of the little rascals of our neighbourhood until this CI Swirl Die cut CS came along - matching the swirls of the gate in the background ! lol

Fellow My Sketch World Card DT team mate Kazan Clark does beautiful card sketches and is a genius with her card & scrapping creations if you haven't discovered her blog yet.

She has a sketch challenge this week ending Sunday May 25 with a Sakura Souffle Pen Set as a prize !

My cardmaking mojo isn't much present and so I came up with something simple to try out some new Sandylion Butterflies & Candy Stripes patterned paper & coordinating stickers, added an Amanda Bru chipboard Butterfly & tried some penwork with the white Inkssentials opaque pen

I distressed the edges of the card & then inked it . Used stickles as well .

Not too sure if this card qualifies well for cute or even a joyous occasion given the colours !

I do know I bought these Memory Box Co 6x6 paper pad called Aerial for the cute birds in the patterns .

Finally using my new Cuttlebug Script & Diamonds in the Rough folders which arrived this week

( for non-US residents - an order of 8 folders would seem to maximise shipping costs & I bought mine from www.busybeescrapbooking.com - no complaints at all! There are other sites too but I wouldn't recommend ebay though.)

- I also distressed the brown Core'dinations cardstock & did some inking everywhere including the Prima Flowers from the Essentials 4 PACK.

Finished off with Champagne pearls by Kaiser Scrapbook.

I had fun distressing the edges of the cardstock - core color blue - sanding it after embossing & finally gave it a few sprays of Glimmer Mist Seafoam

With this week's sketch I finally found a way to use the Luxe Design Transparently Yours Bracketology transparency for the flourishes ( it also comes with a pair of black oversized brackets which I couldn't use here ) . I love the painting on the wall in the photo & this flourished transparency helps to extend the design .

I used Jenni Bowlin Bracket cardstock on top of a Hambly Transparency backed by Kraft paper.

Other Supplies : Hambly rub ons, Jenni Bowlin Bingo card , Glizt Design chipboard feathered friend, Teresa Collins Tags & Diamonds Journaling Spot, 7 gypsies stickers , Flair Design cardstock stickers, Heidi Swapp Cuttlebug embossed mini ghost shapes.

Definitely one of my favourite layouts for now .

Nothing like some new stash to get one inspired - my first Mother's Day card for this year .

Using new MM Noteworthy 2 Delaney spiral journalling block, MM Delaney Blossoms Box , Maya Road Sheer Butterfly ( cut from a 12x12" sheet ) , Little Yellow Bicycle Sharon Ann's Delightful ocllection pp - Roses & Charcoal Elegant Rub ons - so delightful is this collection it would have been too damaging to buy everything in it ! I had to restrain myself ! lol
