Experimented with using my only 3 Cuttlebug embossing folders at a go ( I cant believe I only have dots , swirls & happy birthday ! salivating over the new ones - Swiss Dot, Diamonds etc ) - after going thru' several tutorials about inking the cuttlebug folder ( the links I will add later ) & even to use more than one embossing design on the paper , this was my first result.
Not my most satisfactory of cards to show- I mainly used scraps to experiment - just for fun ! highlighted the Happy Birthday with some glitter gel pens as well as some embossing portions on the card.

Your ideas to use more than one embossing folder at a time and inking the cardstock before embossing are great, Pearl! I don't have a cuttlebug yet but now it is going on my birthday wish list :-D I do have a friend closeby who will emboss for me if I am nice to her. Lol!
