Looking ahead to 2010 trends in scrapbooking
I think lace , doilies , swags , garlands , scallops, lots & lots of bling,
lots more sophisticated florals & blooms ,
flourishes, vintage text & images will be here to stay for a little while.
Die cutting with machines - electronic or otherwise ,More handmaking our own embellies,
Misting with new techniques will surely evolve
More texture , stamping , embossing too ...
just a litttle crystal ball gazing...

Happy New Year Pearl!! Love the look inside your crystal ball!! I really want to try to make more of my own embellishments this year!! They always add so much to a LO and are so original! Plus, they are less expensive!! :)

Love your new sidebar design...Love your predictions...I think shabby chic & "Vintage Findings" type stuff will definitely be growing in popularity {again} - going "back to our roots" so to speak, what with the harsher economic times there'll be more emphasis on ephemera & hand-made. Yay for us!
