A first time scrap project by a 14 year old !

This is a 9x14" layout that my 14 year old niece created for

her school art project last weekend .

All the photo & paper flower cutouts were mainly done by her

with a little help from her 13 year old cousin.

Glitz Design Sublime papers for the background ( supplied by me )

otherwise the Pink Paislee & Heather Bailey embellies are hers .

She has good taste !

Design pointers from me but otherwise she executed everything .

Features a few hidden journaling tags to write about her BIG family

& more index pics in a little accordion album at the corner .

I wonder what her art teacher's gonna say .

What an awesome surprise for me at 12 midnite our time here last nite !!!!!!!!

In no small part due to massive mouse click power - FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD - not just from tiny Singapore ! hey hey ! I've just realised today !!!

Using Glitz Design Sublime Strawberry & Wacky Stripe pattern papers as the starting point.

Worked in some new KI Bloom Frosty Lace CS - Twirl White ( no one makes lace CS like KI ! ) , AC Thickers Shoebox , MM Noteworthy 2 shimmer alphas , Some Doodlebug Design Boutique Brads .

Added some journaling out the the Glitz Design eye candy feathered friend's mouth : "My pics do not capture well how sweet you really are ! "

Couldn't resist adding a RIO Bazzill Edge.

I used the number 0 instead of an o in the title - since number alphas hardly get used in my stash .

Pink Paislee Spring Fling Card creations for ScrapCity GDT

I couldn't wait to cut into my GDT kit for Scrapcity .

It had , to my delight, Pink Paislee Spring Fling papers in it, which I've yet to create with

( I only had 2 sheets of PP alphas before this )

& so I went a little bird happy with whatever I had on hand.

Everything used is from the Heather Bailey Freshcut line except for the Heidi Swapp mirror heart , Autumn Leaves Cute World button & pom pom trim .

I also added cotton candy liquid pearl & stickles to the felt & pp , glitter glue for added texture. Love that heart shaped mirror ! I added a HB rub on to it as well .

Just got hold of the SEI Poppy collection - the most sophisticated line from SEI todate to me - features lots of matt silver foiling .

This sketch was great for cutting into it ! lol

I also got hold of the Heather Bailey FreshCut - touted as "Part of the premiere scrapbooking collection from the fabric world's brightest new star!"

Lots of bright yellow , fushchia & limegreen in this line.

Nothing like some new products to love !

Pick up after the house , Bring DD to the dentist for braces consultation, Bring DS back from school & to an afternoon class, Buy dinner ( no cooking today if I'm running around most of the afternoon ) , Kick back & enjoy TV from 10pm to 1 am !!! We've got Dirty,Sexy Money , Nip/Tuck & The O.C running back to back ! Wahoo !

Snacks I enjoy

Donuts, muffins, tarts , cheesecake , Durian ice cream ! lol ( that you can only get here ! )

Things I would do if I was a millionaire

Donate 10% first off otherwise there wouldn't be anything left to give ! Re-invest the rest & live off the returns ?

Sakura Glaze Pen.

My very basic photography skills does not allow me to capture the dimensional & glittered details very well. LOL ! In other words it's better seen IRL .

 I love all the flock & felt textures.
